Why was it so important to you that Nikita break from the group and isolate herself while attempting to clear her name?
I think it was important because it pushes the character — it’s a good launching place for her character in Season 4 and it also is something that made sense for her to do, being that she’s a lone wolf at heart and that she would rather put herself on the line than her friends when something this major is coming down on them. (x)What exactly is going on in Nikita’s mind when she choses to run instead of sticking around?
It was to protect the ones she loves, but I also think that what she really can’t admit to herself is that she’s never really been the family type; she’s a lone wolf. With her experiences with family growing up and her second family being Division — with Carla Bennett along the way — she’s hard-wired to, when the going gets tough, pull back to herself and try to solve the problem on her own. The lesson she continues to learn, though, is that she really does need to free-fall and hope that someone catches her. (x)I am probably the only one that is excited to see Nikita go solo for awhile brings season one vib. I am so excited for season four!
